Who are we Discover France with us! Since 1947 the C.E.I has been organising international exchanges for young people on an educative level as well as on a linguistic one. C.E.I. is a non profit organisation and a member of several French and international federations which guarantee quality and reliability. We have a special department dedicated to organise programmes for foreign participants wishing to discover France, its culture and language.   For Juniors Linguistic holidays in families or in residences. Our history - 1947 Creation of the Centre d'Echanges Internationaux (CEI). - 1953 Creation of the Club des 4 Vents. - 1954 Creation of the first International holiday centre in Dinard, France. - 1956 Creation of holiday courses abroad : the first linguistic stays. - 1976 First European meeting with young workers. - 1981 Opening of the French Centre in London. - 1991 Merger of CEI and Club des 4 Vents. - 1992 Opening of our French Language school in Paris "Paris Langues". - 1996 Opening of the French Centre in Berlin. - 1997 50th anniversary of CEI: about one million of youngsters have participated in our programmes. - 2000 Creation of the CEI/Club des 4 Vents Welcome Centre in Paris. - 2001 The CEI becomes the French associate member of the “Experiment in International Living” Federation. - 2002 Creation of our Welcome Centre in Saint Malo, Brittany. - 2003 Opening of our office in Dublin and launch of our Chinese department. - 2004 The CEI becomes the French full member of the "Experiment in International Living" Federation - 2006 CEI becomes the representative of Trinity College (USA) and organises their campus in Paris. - 2006 Acquisition of "Langues et Cultures" and Cambridge Gardens College Hastings, UK. - 2007 Published a book about the history of the CEI to celebrate the 60th Anniversary. Memberships - Member of the UNAT (National Union of Tourism Associations). - Founding member of the OFFICE (national agency of guarantee of linguistic stays and practices). - Member of WYSE World Youth Student & Educational Travel Confederation - Full member of the "Experiment in International Living" Federation - Partnership with the Foreign Office and the Ministry of Youth, National Education and Research and the Ministry of Sports, for the development of exchanges with youngsters. Guarantees - Approved by the Ministry of Youth, National Education and Research and the Ministry of Sports. - Consent from the Ministry of Tourism n° AG075950037. - The CEI is covered by a public and legal liability to third parties insurance and by a financial guaranty with the FMS/UNAT.
