| ACTIVITIES For 12 to 18 years old | - SEMI INTENSIVE FRENCH COURSES From 12 to 18 years old:
✘ Guided visit of Montpellier,
✘ Excursion to the Flaugergues castle, to
Sète or Nîmes,
✘ The famous grottoes,
✘ Leisure activities such as cinema,
✘ Beach games and so on…
- INTENSIVE FRENCH COURSES From 13 to 18 years old:
Students who want to improve their level of French can attend extra French classes! Courses are organised according to the students’ needs and offer a very good opportunity to learn much more!
✘ In addition to the morning classes, extra
classes are held on 2 afternoons (which makes a total of 20 lessons per week).
- FRENCH & TENNIS From 13 to 18 years old:
Why not combine tennis practising and French lessons? An excellent mix!
4 tennis lessons (2 hours) are organised per week in a group of 4 students maximum combined with French lessons in the afternoon. Tennis is practiced in a local and professional tennis club, all classes are taught by qualified teachers.
Tennis will be additionally practiced one hour every afternoon on leisure time.
Participants also take part in the weekly excursion with the international group.
On your marks, ready, go for active practicing of French and tennis! | | | FRENCH COURSES | ✘ Students attend 15 morning classes a week (3 classes per day of 50 minutes each) with a maximum of 15 participants per course.
✘ Written tests are given on the first day of class to determine the appropriate level
(Elementary, Intermediate or Advanced), so the student can receive the best education.
✘ Classes are taught by native French teachers who specialise in teaching French as a Foreign Language.
✘ Teachers use dynamic, interactive educational methods that integrate the use
of magazines, cds, discussions on current
affairs, surveys, and presentations.
✘ For Intensive French Courses: in addition to the morning classes, extra classes are held on 2 afternoons (which makes a total of 20 lessons per week).
✘ Students receive a Certificate of Completion at the end of the course. | | | Host families | ✘ Our host families are carefully selected by a CEI area representative and are chosen after an interview and a home visit based on specific selection criteria, including their ability to spend time with students and their sense of welcome and open-mindedness.
✘ Students from different countries and languages can be placed in the same host family.
✘ Host families live 15-30 minutes maximum from the school.
✘ Students receive full board including packed lunches during the week.
| | | Supervision & Safety | ✘ The CEI area representative meets the student upon arrival in the community and maintains regular contact to assure that the stay, coursework and activities are going well.
✘ All our host community residences are in safe and quiet areas.
✘ Qualified French leaders accompany the students during their daily activity sessions & excursions. | | | |
